LOCAL ARTIST'S WORK COMPLETED

A mosaic by internationally known Wheaton Artist, Jerry Carter has recently been completed. The Peace Mosaic for the Peace Stairway in Lenola, Italy.
PHEONIX OF PEACE, A peace mosaic. Design created by Jerry Carter in December 2001 is installed in the Stairway of Peace in Lenola, Italy. The PHEONIX OF PEACE depicts peace rising out of the death and conflagration of the destruction of the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. It is the hope of the artist that societies around the world will learn to communicate better and put aside their stereotyping so that all peoples may work together in peace to make a sustainable life on our planet in space. |
